Summer Garden

Summer gradually ease it's way over Spring. For the first time I encounter hotness that rival my great aunty's sambal chilli! So hot I need to have a fan blowing. It's also a busy time for all things nature including our garden. Churro's trying very hard to end his celibate lifestyle, and the trees are busy pumping up their fruits.

 

Our peaches are looking more and more like little butts. My uncle swear they are really sweet. So they are sweet little butts.

 

Our baby persimmons are turning out nicely too. Honestly I didn't even realize it had flowered but uncle swore it did. Who cares as long as there are persimmons. They shall be ripe over autumn.

 

 

And where's there's fruits, there's ants and birds thus we have have to net all our fruit frees. They look like big hot air balloons lining up our back yard.

If the hot weather holds we shall have blueberries and cherries for dessert. Naturally fertilized by our worm farm, they are sweet and yummy!

Biggest surprise of all, are the row of lilies found in the backyard. They were hiding all winter and suddenly bloom in summer~! It's always entertaining to walk around in summer. You never know what you will find.
